WHO STRATOSPHERE DESIGN IS

Stratosphere Design is not a large corporate company working with hundreds of clients. This means that when you call, we pick up the phone. We serve a limited number of clients and we focus on providing solid solutions and services.

I'm Ron Sparks. I started Stratosphere Design in 2003, in Albany, Oregon, designing and developing small website for friends, local bands, and small businesses.

In 2004 I spent some time traveling the country and saw about 38 states in five months. The travel and networking paid off! I made many contacts and I was able to work from Oregon on projects that were now spread across the United States.

In 2006 I packed up again and traveled across the country to move to Sarasota, Florida. Sarasota is home to one of the top design schools in the country, The Ringling College of Art and Design, bringing more awareness of good design to even the smallest of local businesses. I became the in-house designer for Harmar, a nationwide manufacturer of health services equipment, designing their national magazine ads, catalogs, banners, kiosks, websites, and press releases. During this time, I continued to take freelance projects.

Stratosphere Design was taking off. I had two choices: I could cut back on freelancing or I could run with it, and make something great happen.

Now Stratosphere Design is working on projects in Oregon, California and Florida. Phone calls come in every week with a new project. Because of high quality work, strong relationships with clients, and a tireless commitment to provide clients with excellent service, Stratosphere Design is no longer just Ron Sparks. Stratosphere Design is a growing company producing high quality work with the latest technology. The future is unknown but very bright.
